When the Deep Speaks: The Uranus Gemini Ingress Triple Conjunction and a Scorpio Full Moon
What you could never say is ready to surface; just hold fire on any aggression.
Monday 27th, April, 2026. Did you feel it - an electric shock wave through your mind, a wake-up call, a revolutionary impulse? I know I did, and I have to say I’m quite relieved to feel Uranus arrive in Gemini, to stay. Well, until August 2032 at least.
His journey through the Taurus fixed earth sign of physicality and material reality over the last seven years may have felt like trudging through mud - not easy! Look back to 2018 and consider, has not your world, in some area of your life, changed irreparably? Uranus likes to challenge those rigid structures we have so diligently constructed, and that is what he has been doing in your Taurus house. For seven years. Not change for change's sake but for living’s sake; to awaken and free our authentic self from the shackles of the life we have built.
The thing about Uranus is you just can’t ignore his revolutionary vibe. If he knows your Soul destiny needs change but you’re resisting - that’s when he brings along the kind of disruptive change that we don’t want - the unpleasant shocks. So it’s best to get with his revolutionary programme, get proactive and enjoy the ride!
Let me give you a real-life example of what I’m talking about here. Uranus’s entry into Taurus in May 2018 had me waking up one day and suddenly deciding to throw in the towel on a successful career and the considerable financial security that gave me. Just like that (for context, I was single and living on my own, so no other responsibilities). I had no idea how I was going to feed myself or what I was going to do, but I needed to do something more authentic to who I had become. And it felt like my life depended upon it. I now know that my physical health actually did. Once I stopped, the realisation of how absolutely depleted my Adrenal system was hit me. Like a brick wall. It has taken me the past seven years to recover my health and well-being. Taurus is my 10th house of career, public image and status. And I purposely broke it, thankfully!

Now it’s Gemini’s turn to feel the revolutionary burn of Uranus, and the feel of this awakening force is mental. I mean that quite literally. Gemini, a mutable air sign, ruled by Mercury, is all about the mind - your intellect, information and knowledge. Whatever area of your life is represented by your Gemini house is about to get the Uranus treatment. The good news is that Gemini, being mutable, likes change, welcomes it, thrives on it, so we can expect Uranus to have an easier time realising his agenda for change here than in fixed Taurus. My advice? Expect the unexpected and don’t resist changes you know are due. And like when any electrical current is present - and Uranus energy is definitely electric - it’s important to remain grounded.
Uranus, Sedna and Alcyone
As Uranus enters Gemini he forms a conjunction to the fixed star Alcyone (one of the Seven Sisters collectively known as the Pleiades) and is applying to a conjunction with the dwarf planet Sedna at 1 degree Gemini. While most astrologers talk about Sedna as being about technology (which, interestingly, Uranian energy can signify), I relate more with her transcendence and shamanic associations (see here for more about her mythology and meaning).
This triple conjunction challenges you to articulate something you’ve never been able to express. This experience has existed beneath language, residing in your body and bones. Sedna’s mythology revolves around severance and silence. What emerges now might feel awkward or raw but say it anyway.
Gemini values information analysis and quick mental processing. This conjunction disrupts all that. Right now your grief, accumulated sensing and body memory are more reliable than your reasoning.
Alcyone is a halcyon star, as in halcyon days. Her gift is a window of unusual stillness, brief and real, in which something new can be conceived. If you have been waiting for conditions to settle before beginning something, the period between now and mid-May should provide the interval you need.
In the mythology of all three of these planetary bodies - Uranus, Sedna and Alcyone- we see that what was violently separated from the body of a god becomes the generative principle of a new order. This lineup speaks to the possibility that the wound you have been carrying is not separate from what you are here to give; the loss is not in the way of the work, in many cases, it is the source of it.
The Scorpio Full Moon
On Friday, 1st May at 18:23 BST, we have a Full Moon at 11 degrees Scorpio. You’ll be feeling its intensity in the life area associated with your Scorpio house (Scorpio is always intense). This is an accumulation point for the Scorpio New Moon energies of November 2025, with its “most graceful yet intense configurations of the year”, which I wrote about here. This coming weekend provides an excellent opportunity to review what has occurred since the seedings of that particular New Moon, celebrate your wins and accomplishments, and let go of what is not working.
This is a challenging moon with intense feelings emerging, truths reveled and the need to release something related to your Scorpio/Taurus axis - complications and endings can figure strongly. Meanwhile, Mars, the ruler of this lunation, is in his domicle of Aries, so we may be triggered into fiery decisive action in response to the emotional peaks and tensions present. It’s probably best to hold back any aggression towards others. If we can stay mindful, the applying trine with Jupiter in nurturing Cancer can help us to focus on compassionate solutions, while still expressing our true needs. Alternatively, you may just feel the need to rest or dive deep into your inner work, and this Full Moon is an excellent time for that too. However you choose to spend this time, may you be grounded in your raw truth and blessed by the gods 💜
